Good flight to Perth, smooth and quiet and much to Pams amazement, landed safely. Picked up the hire car, which after inspection and finding a stack of minor scratches not listed on the rental agreement we finally left the airport and got to Lukes place about 2pm. Had a late lunch and went to the Shipwreck Gallery Museum which holds the remains of the Batavia and other numerous ship wreck paraphernalia, very interesting to see the trials and tribulations of the early seafarers.
Left there and went to Lukes local, the Norfolk Hotel for a beer, back to the unit to check out the sunset, then to Coles to get some supplies. Because of the late lunch we had alcohol, cheese, biscuits and salami for tea. Very tired tonight after a 4am start and gaining a couple of hours across the country.
Only a couple of photos tonight, maybe more tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing Emily and Chris tomorrow.
