Frozen solid again this morning, all up early to get ready for
the trip to Pardoo Station where we will spend the night on the 600,000 hectare
cattle station where there is a caravan park and cabins. Called into Port Hedland for lunch and to
refresh some supplies. Arrived about 5
and first priority was a hot shower to rinse all the red dirt and Spinifex grass
out of and off our tired bodies. Sleep
in a bed all warm and cosy, even if the showers and toilets are 100 yards away. I think I’m a little too soft for this camping
business!!

| The reddest roadhouse in the nation, so much red dust there is no stopping it getting into everything. |
 |
| One of the main reasons for the dust, hundreds of road trains stop at this isolated roadhouse. |
 |
| Port Hedland Port - full of ships to transport iron ore. |
 |
| A spot of lunch on the waters edge. |
 |
| Pardoo Station reception. |
